Deputy Mayor Pierce called the meeting to order.
Proof of Publication was confirmed.
Roll call was taken and a quorum of the Board of Trustees was not present. The Board of Trustees present moved to adjourn the Board of Assessment Review to Friday, February 24, 2017 at 9:30am to 1:30pm.
The February 21, 2017 meeting of the Board of Assessment Review ended at approximately 12:10PM.

The Pledge of Allegiance was said.
Mayor Letica called the meeting to order and noted that we are reconvening from February 21, 2017 adjourned hearing to February 24, 2017 at 9:30am to 1:30pm.
Proof of notification was confirmed.
A total of twenty-seven (27) grievance applications were submitted for the 2017/2018 assessment role and were reviewed.
One resident appeared before the Board of Assessment Review at approximately 1:15pm to discuss his grievance application on his land assessment. Paul Wotzak and the board discussed the grievance complaint with the resident. Paul Wotzak indicated that the tax assessment is for both the land and the building and you review the total assessed value as a whole.
A determination was made to deny twenty-seven (27) of the grievance applications due to in sufficient supporting documentation and incomplete information. Letters indicating the reasons for the denials will be sent out. The board voted to deny twenty-seven (27) grievance applications;
Mayor Letica made a motion to approve, seconded by Trustee Ettinger.
