The Pledge of Allegiance was said.
Deputy Mayor Pierce called the meeting to order.
Proof of Publication was confirmed.
One resident appeared before the Board of Assessment Review to discuss his application. Paul Wotzak and the board discussed the application with the resident. Paul Wotzak indicated that he will review the application and the supporting documentation and advise the Board.
A total of sixteen (16) grievance applications were submitted for the 2016/2017 assessment role and were reviewed.
Two of the sixteen applications needed further review.
The Board of Assessment Review agreed to reconvene until March 15th, 2016 awaiting additional information from Paul Wotzak, Assessor.

Mayor Letica opened up the Board of Assessment Review and noted that we are reconvening from February 16th 2016 at approximately 4:50pm to finalize the determinations on the grievance applications.
Village Clerk, Nancy Rittenhouse presented the board with Paul Wotzak, Assessor’s recommendations on two of the grievance applications.
The Board of Assessment Review reviewed and discussed the applications and noted the findings from Assessor Paul Wotzak.
A determination was made to deny fourteen (14) of the grievance applications due to insufficient supporting documentation and incomplete information. Letters indicating the reasons for the denials will be sent out. The Board voted to deny (14) grievance applications;

A determination was made to grant in part relief requested on two (2) grievance applications;
One (1) application for parcel 0401-005-01-023-000 located at 12 Clamshell Lane from AV 70,750 reduced to AV 65,660 due to the most recent sales researched by Paul Wotzak compared to the owners own documentation.

One (1) application for parcel 0401-008-01-006-000 located at 156 Asharoken Avenue from AV 44,000 reduced to AV 39,200 due to the recent sale price and comparable properties recently sold.
Mayor Letica made a motion to approve, seconded by Trustee Ettinger.
