The Pledge of Allegiance was said.
Proof of publication was made.
Deputy Mayor opened up the meeting and read the first resolution;
Resolution (2015-163) Be It Resolved that the Village Board does hereby approve the services with Euro Metalsmiths Inc. for fabricating and installing the village hall handrail with post in the amount not to exceed $2,700.
Trustee Ettinger reported on the two designs that were submitted by Metalsmiths, one design is similar to the handicap ramp railing, and the second design has a straight railing. He recommended approving concept (A) with the round ends and using stainless steel. Trustee Burke asked if the village did business with the company before, Trustee Ettinger noted that we did not, but they were recommended by Continental Fence. He also noted that we received a second estimate in the amount of $6776.00. Trustee Jablonski also recommended design (A) and agreed.
Motion was made by Deputy Mayor Pierce, seconded by Trustee Jablonski.

Resolution (2015-164) Be It Resolved that the Village Board does hereby approve the purchase of an Anderson French door, opening to the outside, size is approximately 6’ 0” W x 6’ 11” H and installation for the new village hall in the amount not to exceed $3950.00 and authorizing Riverhead Lumber to sell the existing front French door at fair market value with proceeds to go to the Village.

Deputy Mayor Pierce reported that on December 15th 2015 a request to the Board was made to consider a survey at today’s work session, she noted that the board will consider it, but needs additional time. Trustee Jablonski, noted that the survey seems not to add much value, the survey should be much broader to add more value. Trustee Burke commented on the way the survey reads and noted that it should be more objective. Deputy Mayor Pierce recommended that the board write up some comments on the survey for the ASDRP committee.
Trustee Jablonski noted that Newsday seems to be altering photos and the village should send a letter to them. He noted that the cemetery is becoming a safety issue and a dumping ground and that the beach lot parking area needs to be cleaned up.
Trustee Burke made a motion to adjourn the meeting, seconded by Trustee Jablonski.
